May Stuff

Whew, it has just been one of those weeks, & we all have them, right?
Have been wanting to share these photos taken at one of my
favorite antique malls.  How cute are these booths!

Love vintage kitchen things
Pyrex galore
Don't you love the three fab vintage tables?

Haven't done much thrifting lately, but did pick up these
homemade hot pads from a sweet woman selling her
designs at the flea market.
Yup, I really did buy all these because I just couldn't choose,
& she was selling them for a dollar each.  Seriously, a dollar.

Gardening has been keeping me busy.
We did some container planting again this year.
Such healthy looking tomato plants.
(so far...crossing fingers)

Our roses are blooming like crazy, which makes me smile!
That's about it for now, but promise to be back soon
with a vintage tablecloth.  Happy mid-week!

  1. Good morning dear Pam and a happy Thursday to you!
Ah yes...we all do have 'those' kind of weeks every so often!
Your ropses are gorgeous - how I would love to have roses blooming in my garden! They're so beautiful on the bush, arranged in a vase on the table and I even received a package of rose tea the other day which I am so excited about trying!
    Enjoy your gardening:)
    Much love and hugs,

  2. We do all have "those weeks" every now and then don't we? I'm not a fan! Lol! I do love all those neat retro tables! Those hot pads are too cute and so cheap. I don't see how the lady is making any money off them. She must enjoy making them to keep busy. Your roses are gorgeous Pam! Someday I'm going to plant a few. Are yours knockout roses?

    1. Yes they are. Fuss free and reliable beauty in front of our house each year. They bloom from May through October here.

  8. Love your roses! Ours looked like that a week or so ago, but most of the blooms are spent, and we've been getting so much rain that I haven't been able to get out and deadhead them.

  15. Hi Pam! How are you? I'm missing Virginia! I love those booths. I swear, I could spend hours in an antique mall! I so wanted to go to the one in Williamsburg, but we never had a chance. Wahhhhhhh! Maybe next time! I hear you about spending a lot of time outside gardening. I'm almost done, just have a few annuals to pot and I'm DONE! Talk to you soon!

  16. Beautiful finds Pam! My grandparents had the gray topped table. They were so sturdy... and all that chrome! Wish I knew what happened to it! Have a lovely week!
