The big selling day at our local Flea Market is Sunday, so today
we filled the back of the pick-up truck with some of the treasures
hoarding collecting at sales, and rented a table to sell.
I love hitting the thrifts, church & estate sales. It really is one of
favorite hobbies. But eventually it's all too much and time to do some selling!
So here I am! The table behind me and in front of me is ours.
Of course Mr. Retro did most of the lifting and I did most of the pricing.
Whoops, I was so busy trying to get the table I cut his head off.
It was really chilly this morning, but also a gorgeous sunny day.
We sold a lot of stuff ~ not as much as we hoped ~ but we were satisfied.
Besides, it won't be our last sale. Mr. Retro is already "talking up" having
a fall yard sale, and I want to do a mostly "linens" sale sometime soon.
But someplace warm and indoors!
Do you have someplace local where you sell?
Would love to hear about it!
Now onto my giveaway win! I'm so excited to show you the
great package I recently received from Chris at Perfectly Printed .
I'm a lucky woman to be the winner of Chris' generous giveaway .
You'll see why in the photos below.
She was giving away a sweet pillow she made, but when I looked into
the box I knew there was certainly more than a pillow in there.
& she's thanking me!
All came wrapped up so pretty with fall colored ribbons.
The cutest set of placemats, a decoupage (hope I got that term right) Halloween décor block,
and a precious pumpkin made from canning jar lids. So creative!!!
It has really added to my Fall-Halloween décor, as I only had a few decorations.
I have a house guest coming Thursday, guess what placemats will be on the table?
& of course, this perfect Halloween witchy pillow. You can't look at it
without SMILING! I LOVE IT!
Well, I love it all. I can't thank Chris enough for her
kind and generous spirit, and I so admire the "talent"!
