Whether you call it Aqua orTurquoise, beautiful on the table!

Aqua/Turquoise ~ whichever you choose to call it ~ one of my favorite colors!
It just screams vintage ~ retro ~ & mid-century.
So my table this week...........
I love all the colors in my vintage tablecloths, but there is something about the use
of just two colors, so striking!
I learned that I really don't have too much in the way of "white", so used some of my
vintage doilies to add some white to this table.
White Russel Wright Casual China by Iroquois
Turquoise Hazel Atlas platonite ovide dinnerware
White Hazel Atlas platonite sherbets
1970 Sheffield faux pearl handled steak knives
Milk glass center bowl and candlestick holders

Think I'm in love with this sweet feminine table!
Just couldn't stop myself from posting too many photos.

I even found a bottle of wine to match, dessert Moscato.
Shall I save you a glass...or two?

I was inspired to do this table by Cuisine Kathleen's
Let's Dish challenge:  "Let There Be White",
The challenge is to design a white tablescape with one contrast color.
I got the contrast color right, lol, just wish I had more white to show.
As always, thanks for your visit and comments!

Here's Doyle "nosing" in again, wanting to say Hi!
Enjoy your week!
PS/I've decided to use photos of vintage tablecloths as my new background,
and will change them do you like???

  1. Aqua / turquoise ~ can't miss with this color. It's pretty with the white and perfect for the challenge. Love the vintage tablecloth background. '-)

  2. LOL Pam, I'd probably call it jade. One thing is for sure, it's a beautiful cloth and looks absolutely stunning paired with the milk glass and the crocheted doilies. (Yes, I like your tablecloth background!)

  3. That's one of the prettiest tablescapes you've ever done. It's absolutely enchanting!

  5. Hi Pam,
I'm exceedingly fond (besotted!) of turquoise and I adore this grouping. I love your tablecloth - it looks like it's in perfect condition, you lucky! I don't know anything about vintage cloths - I would have thought it was older than from the fifties. I sure remember them from the fifties but I thought my mom had just hung onto them hahahhahaha.
Your new background is a lot of fun! (I have an idea in my mind what I want for mine but I can't find it WAH!)
Happy week to you guys, hope your back feels better right away!

  6. I would definitely say that tablecloth is more or a turquoise. Either way it is one of my favorites! I have a very similar one in pink and white. I'm on the lookout now:-)

  7. I'm an "aqua" girl. It sounds prettier! I have a similar tablecloth in bright yellow. It was my grandmother's. I enjoy all of your tablescapes, but this one is my favorite so far!
