Sweet Vintage Tablecloth Tabletop!

Love this sweet spring looking vintage  tablecloth,
recently identified by a fellow member of the
as a Harmony House, more then likely made for Sears by Simtex.
It definitely has the typical Simtex waffle-type look and feel.

This pretty tablecloth looks like it would have been well suited for a bridal shower
or bridesmaids luncheon, decorated with nosegays and the floral border.

Doesn't the border design remind you of a sweet banner?
I'm thinking I need to make a vintage hankie banner!

I mixed & matched my Hazel Atlas Moderntone for the place settings.
Wish I'd had enough of the these pink and blue to do all the place settings.

I keep hunting Hazel Atlas, but it's not that easy to find at sales anymore.

I used as many of the tatted and crocheted pieces (that I recently
bought at my friend's yard sale)  HERE  that I could work in.

The bowl, a recent $1 flea market find, is perfect for the center.
vintage Anchor Hocking "Oyster & Pearl" candlestick holders.

Couple close-ups of the sweet pattern.

Thanks for visiting!
You know I love to share my favorite thing...vintage tablecloths!

Have a great week!

  1. It's all beautiful, but I think my favorite is the gray, green, black and white combination.

  3. You are so talented! That table cloth is beautiful! I've never seen one like it. I made my first hankie banner the other day. I'll have to show it soon...I did it the easy way and just tied them to a ribbon. Still cute though I think!
Thank you for showing us another fabulous table design!
