I was gifted...come see!

Now that my giveaway is done, I'd like to share
some wonderful gifts that I received!

Oh yeah...........I got spoiled this year!!!

First from sweetie Mr. Retro, gorgeous flowers, and these beautiful vintage
amber candlestick holders.  I need to do a blog on my growing collection.

He also gave me this wonderful signed limited edition print!
I love oriental art, I'm just drawn to it.  The is entitled 'Ladies of Edo".
I learned that Edo was the former name for Tokyo.

(sorry the photo is not better, but from the front all I got was flash)

From my co-workers!  I was leaving my job at the same time as I was
having a birthday, so I got this great combo!

Fun crab platter with matching crab seasoning shaker & set of cute crab
S & P shakers. These will be put to great use when Mr. Retro sets his
crab pots this summer, yummy fresh steamed crabs, and crab cakes!

From a good friend...lovely vintage tablecloth ...ooh, candle set
that actually match the tablecloth, and a gorgeous Trifari vintage brooch.

It's so much more beautiful than I could capture in the photo,
with pearls & sparkly rhinestones.  She really spoiled me!

Another good friend spent a month in Hawaii in February.
She thoughtfully sent me this sweet Aloha calendar towel, handmade
necklace, Maui onion salt, and the adorable make-up or carry-bag.
Aloha me!

From another friend, this lovely Gerbera Daisy plant and bottle of wine.

"Mad Housewife" in vintage dress.
I'll be keeping this for awhile just to enjoy the bottle!

Hit the Pottery Factory, which has a little bit of everything, and
nabbed myself a new Pyrex baking dish, cake box (always wanted
one & it was priced $3.99!), and 2 sweet bamboo baskets.
The leaf dish~maker unknown was thrifted.

Thanks for enjoying my gifts with me!
(Please excuse my sometimes wierd spacing, I'm fighting
with my Google compose over it, but they're winning!)

& for my Giveaway Winners:
Barbara, Ann & Jill

Got these in the mail this morning!

  9. Happy belated birthday Pam. Looks like you got some wonderful gifts. I especially like the amber candlesticks. My Mom has a very small collection of amber. She could kick herself because she once decided she didn't want it and sold her prettiest pieces in a yardsale for next to nothing. Now it matches the house and she is able to use it....and of course now her pretty pieces are gone. Guess that's just an excuse to go shopping! I bought her a few "new" pieces of amber for her birthday earlier this year. I'd love to see your collection.
