Snow really? & a Giveaway hint!

REALLY???

I don't live in the Midwest, or the Northeast......
I live in Southeastern Virginia, where we hardly ever get snow.
So what the heck happened here?

Unexpected snow yesterday, a few inches accumulation,  just enough
for Doyle to enjoy himself & make snow angels!

I have several photos like this.....he is a blur in all of them because
he was running so fast I couldn't get a good shot, LOL!

What's up with spring snow a week before my Birthday & Easter?
Snow...Easter...a Birthday....what a great reason for a
BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAY!

Look for details in a post coming soon!

  1. Too funny with Doyle zooming around, it is hard to get pictures of them when they're having so much fun! Dogs do love those snow angels! :) We got just a dusting of snow last night, I'm ready for warm spring anytime now! Lol. Your table looks sooo pretty!! Love all the pretty Eastery colors! That table clothe is gorgeous too! :) What day is your birthday? :) Happy new week!

  3. Hi there, Doyle looks like he is having so much fun!! Wilma would go crazy if she ever got to play in snow! We didn't see any all winter, (and usually don't).
I just love your Easter table cloth and can't wait for your giveaway!

  7. Ohhh... is that an pink Open Rose water pitcher? I love that pattern. And that table cloth is wonderful too!

I don't get the weather at all. We have barely had 10 days of Winter here this year. (north of Dallas) So I am stunned when I see so much snow and we can't even get a true break from the heat. Just odd days of cool weather every so often.

    1. I don't really know my depression glass patterns, but when I bought the pitcher I was told it is the Mayfair pattern. It's not perfect, a small crack in the bottom, but too beautiful to leave behind.

Wishing you a "cool" spring & summer!

    2. Mayfair Open Rose I believe is its name... there were oodles of those depression glass patterns with roses. And I love them all!

I have a couple older depression glass water pitchers, that have internal cracks, with their handles. Which unfortunately is way too common. So they are display pieces also. I don't have the heart to get rid of them either.
