I'm Not Crafty~Hearts & VintageTablecloth

I'm not crafty, but it's February.
So many pretty Valentines and decorations out there.

was having a Valentine Swap ~ decorate a heart shaped
candy box, fill it with goodies, and send it to your swap partner.
She did a tutorial showing us a sweet box she crafted.

I couldn't resist joining in!  A trip to the craft store,
some rummaging through stuff I already had, and I was ready!

First, I decorated a heart box for my swap partner~which is on it's way.

It was such fun, I couldn't stop.
So I made one for my Mom.  Then I made one for myself.

I know my Mom will like it, because...well, you know, I made it for her.
Even if she doesn't really like it, she'll like it.
You know what I'm saying!

This is the heart I decorated to keep!

They look so sweet on my dogwood vintage tablecloth,
I'm leaving them there until I mail my Mom's package to her.

Little round wooden box and a couple of hearts I painted and decorated.

I can't show you the box I did for the swap....because my partner hasn't received
it yet, but ~ I'll share this photo of a little gift wrapped in a damask
napkin that is also tucked in her package.

Working on ideas for my Valentine tablescape.

Doyle is just nosing in to see what is going on!   :)
  Thanks for stopping by!

STAY TUNED.....I'm working on my Valentine Swap post!

    1. Thanks Erica! I hadn't done anything crafty in a long time, so I was worried. They did turn out pretty well, so glad I joined in too! I sent Holly her package a week ago - priority mail - so I'm getting worried since she hasn't received it yet.

    1. Holly, I won that beautiful polka dot paper & valentine design paper, from you! I won a box of cute crafties in a giveaway you had that I was the lucky winner of! :)

  11. Pam, you Mom will be thrilled with her Valentine box. I know I would be!!
I sure wish I had saved all the beautiful heart shaped boxes with candy in them that I'd gotten over the years. Wouldn't they make a beautiful display?
