Come see my vintage tablecloths!

I'm hoping to share a few photos of my vintage tablecloths.
I'm still having major Internet problems, so crossing fingers, here goes.

This is a California Handprints.  Don't know the pattern name,
but it should be Day Lilly!  The fabric is cotton and rayon,
and has such a nice silky feel and wonderful drape.

Close up of the pattern.

This is another California Handprints, pattern name Moon Flower.

Extra silky, with a higher percent of Rayon.
Just gorgeous vibrant pink on teal.

These next two are Simtex, pattern name Quo Vadis.

Pretty green on a soft yellow.

I have this same tablecloth in a different colorway.

This will be great for a fall tablescape.

You'd think one of the pattern would be enough, but I love how
different they look in more than one colorway.

This great tablecloth is by Lustre Prints.

Just a wonderful geometric design with Greek key border
and a few ferns thrown in.

Oops!  How could I not buy it in this reddish-pink colorway?

We like what we like!

Last one, a gorgeous Startex-Starmont with oriental scenes.

I love the oriental themes, and this tablecloth
is an especially gorgeous blue.

I hope you enjoyed seeing just the "tip of the iceberg" of my vintage tablecloth collection.
( A girl can never have too many vintage tablecloths!)
I plan to show off more in a future blog.

Don't forget to check out the Vintage Tablecloth Lovers Club
though the link on my sidebar.  You'll see the gorgeous tablecloths
that will be given away for entering the Database Contest.

Thanks for visiting!

  8. Those tablecloths are gorgeous. Is that a ladder you have them displayed on? I have several, but I struggle with how to display them.

    1. My husband is a woodworker and made me the ladder to display them on. It's a wonderful way to display a half dozen at a time, and they look so pretty in the dining room. Sometimes I see small vintage ladders at flea markets, keep looking!

  9. Oh those are beautiful! Your doric lace bowl looks fantastic as a centerpiece. Pam you are a saint, I don't know if being my house guest would have made me give up those 20 pcs of Park Avenue! :) LOL! Do you thrift much in Richmond? The hour drive is so worth the trip. There are some great "antique" places too but we treat those places like museums - a place to see great stuff in person but not to buy - ha!

    1. Well, not only a houseguest, but a very good friend who has just gotten into "thrifting". She was excited because she was having some friends for dinner the next week-end and wanted to use them.

No Richmond thrifting yet, but stay tuned! :-)

  10. Of course my favorite is the daylily since that is the name of my blog. I have quite a few myself but until I saw the display had not thought how to display them. Another great idea from Kathe's with an E.

  11. Oh Pam, you make me want to get all of my tablecloths out of the cabinet and play with them! I know there are some in there that I haven't looked at in years. You've got a fantastic collection, with so many designs that I've never seen, and I thought I'd seen them all! I'm over the moon for that moonflower one!
