Seeing Pink Elephants!

I'm seeing pink elephants....

Is it the heat?

No, it's my pink elephant glasses!

Vintage 1950's by Hazel Atlas.

I've seen them for sale on eBay for $10-20 per glass.

My local flea market price, $5 for the 6 glasses!

YAY!  That's my thrifty find.  They are so
cute and whimsical; such fun to serve
 summer drinks in....

Would you like a Long Island Iced Tea?

Please forgive my short post, but
I've had lots of internet problems this week.
Thought it might be due to the heat, then
read in the local paper yesterday that someone
cut the Verizon lines when he ran over them while
"bushhogging".

Gotta love living in the country!

I'm joining in:

    1. Yes, but it's nothing exciting, LOL! Mine has 2 stickers, the first says "oven safe", the 2nd shows an "S" shaped looking logo with DWS/MWS underneath, & under that Made In China. It really does seem to be of a nice quality though, doesn't it?

  7. Your cups remind me of the elephants on the Disney Dumbo feature film! How Cute! I'm a new follower. I see you are a member of the VTLC. I am not yet a member, but I did a post announcing the database contest. Do you have any tablecloths pictured in their database?

    1. Hi Amy! Yes, I do. Initially we could only send photos of tablecloths with paper tags, I didn't have that many, about 6-8. Most of my cloths are not MWT (mint with tag). However, I've been taking photos and just sent some with sewn in tags and have many more to photograph. Hope you join, it's a fun group! Even if you don't, hope you enter the database contest. There are some great tablecloths for prizes!

    1. Fran, yeah, I wondered too when we moved here. It's a piece of equipment that attaches to the back of a farm tractor to ? chew up grass, bushes, weeds, who knows, but those big blades can be destructive. I believe the correct term would be a brush hog, but for some reason it's called a bush hog, LOL! Look at what I would have missed if we didn't move to the country.

  22. These are over the moon adorable! Coincidentally, I recently bought my first pink vintage elephant item, too (it's a super cute pair of pink elephants linked together with a delicate chain and is so wonderfully 50s).
