Gardenias & Ribbons Tablecloth (and a "peek")

Today I'm topping my table with this sweet
vintage Gardenias & ribbons tablecloth.

It's floral pattern looks so springy on this rainy day,
topped by my Hazel Atlas, whose colors
are so much fun to mix and match.

I chose to mix the gray, chartreuse and turquoise
and add a few extra fun pieces.

Bonus...the ribbon design napkins, came
with the tablecloth.  Love the sets!

Would I forget the wine?  Why, I even found a bottle
with  a color coordinating label!

I've had this set of Ceramic Arts Studio vintage
S & P shakers for many years.
CAS produced quality ceramic figurines
in Madison, Wisconsin in the 40's & 50's.

Couple more close-ups  of the cute stuff.

Mr. Retro bought me this milk glass console set recently.
Love the little dolphins design!  They're not easy to find.

One last look because.........

You've just had a "peek" at my giveaway prize ~
The Gardenias & ribbons vintage tablecloth
with four matching napkins.

  8. Hello Pam, here I am with a belated thank you for your sweet anniversary wishes on my PS post. All the comments made our anniversary special. Congratulations on 30 years of marriage. A milestone for this day and age. Smile. Yes, we picked some great days for getting married. There must be Magic for us to still be happily married. However, we both know a happy marriage is always a work in progress. The good thing is we have a love that endures.

Your tablecloth and napkins are so pretty and your table setting is perfect for colors of your treasure. A giveaway is a lovely idea and I hope you make it to 100 very soon.

  17. Each time I see retro linens like this I think of my mother. She always kept cloths like this on our table when I was small, starched and ironed, thank you. Guess who learned how to iron on these things?

I wish I had some of hers now, but I guess they wore out or she gave them away. This one is really pretty with the Gardenias.
